Why is this metric useful?

We use this metric along with search score in order to give you an idea of whether you should move forward with a keyword or not.

How do we calculate it?

We check out how competitive the top 10 ranking apps for that specific keyword are and take all the apps ranking for that keyword into consideration.

What is the methodology?

The chance score is scaled from 0 to 100, with 100 being the easiest keyword to rank in the Top 10 search results.

How often is the data updated?

The data is updated once a week.

What is the data coverage?

We cover both App Store and Play Store for all apps and all countries.
