Search result ads are the most coveted Apple Search Ads placement, creating a highly competitive environment. Many apps target specific keywords to rank high and run search result ads. Generic keywords in each category attract high volumes of bids from multiple apps, all competing for the top spot.

Understanding your competition and identifying opportunities is crucial for optimizing your budget and increasing your visibility. Search Ads Intelligence’s Top Advertisers tool provides the insights you need to stay ahead when it comes to search result ads. Let’s walk through Top Advertisers together in 3 simple steps.

How to use the Top Advertiser

1. Open the Top Advertisers tool under the Search Ads Intelligence product.

2. Choose any category, date, and storefront to list the top advertisers for search result ads. The page defaults to all categories unless you select a specific one.

Under the category selection, you will see the taxonomy filters for you to better specify your analysis. Select either general app categories or any App Taxonomy / Game Taxonomy before listing the Top Advertisers.

3. After setting your filters, review the list of top advertisers in the selected category, date, and storefront. This page displays the Search Ads Visibility score, total number of paid keywords, category rankings, and overall rankings of the listed apps.

Keep in mind!

You can export the list generated based on your selection as a CSV document by clicking the CSV button on the top right of the table.
