Search result ads are the most important placement in Apple Search Ads, with numerous apps constantly bidding on various keywords, adjusting their budgets, and competing to achieve the highest conversions.

Given this competitive landscape, it is crucial to identify the most relevant and impactful keywords and craft a solid search results ad strategy. MobileAction’s Search by Keyword tool provides insights for any keyword, including which apps are bidding on it, the impressions they receive, and more.

How to use Search by Keyword

1. Click the Search by Keyword option under the Search Ads Intelligence tool.

2. Type in the keyword you want to analyze. You’ll get a list of apps targeting that keyword along with keyword performance metrics and a chart that shows how the impression share rates have changed over the last 3 months between the apps in the list

3. Choose the date range and storefront you want to analyze for the selected keyword.

4. After you set all your filters, review the search popularity score of the selected keyword, the chance percentage indicating how likely your app is to rank with that keyword, the total number of apps listed under this keyword for the chosen date range, and the number of apps bidding on this keyword for their paid efforts.
