Through the Mobile Action platform, you can set up Custom Alerts to simplify your work and reporting. You'll receive instant notifications for any changes in the marketplace based on the custom parameters you define. You can choose to have these Custom Alerts sent directly to your email inbox or imported into your Slack workspace. To receive notifications via your Slack channels, you should first integrate your Slack account with MobileAction. Let’s see how!

How to integrate your Slack account

First, in the top right corner of the dashboard, next to the bell icon, you'll see your profile icon. Click on it, and a menu will appear where you should select "Custom Alerts."

After clicking on "Custom Alerts," you'll be directed to the Custom Alerts page, where you can see all your current and past alerts. To create a new one, click on the "+ Create New Alert" button.

While creating a new custom alert, you'll see a section where you can choose the channel through which you'll receive your alerts. You can opt to be notified by email or via Slack. If your Slack account is not integrated, you will see a button next to the Slack option labeled "Add Slack Channel," with a Slack logo beside it. To integrate your Slack account with MobileAction, click this button, and you will be directed to Slack's integration page. From there, follow the instructions provided by Slack.

Once your Slack channel is integrated, you can select any of your Slack channels that you want to use. You do not need to create multiple Custom Alerts for different Slack channels, as you can choose multiple channels to be notified.

This wraps up how to integrate and choose Slack channels for Custom Alerts. If you have further questions about the process, please contact your dedicated Customer Success Manager or reach out to the support team via Intercom!
