Creatives, advertisers, ad publishers, and developers are the main components of paid advertising, and you’ll need a deep understanding of each to build a winning paid advertising strategy that showcases your app to the right audience. Under MobileAction’s Ad Intelligence, there is a section filled with tools dedicated to paid advertising market analysis. Here, you can track any app’s paid advertising strategies to understand the best-case scenarios in your category and build your own strategy.

In this article, we’ll focus on Ad Intelligence’s collection tools. These tools allow you to create collections of creatives, advertisers, publishers, and developers to categorize your searches and competitors, letting you track them more closely. These tools alsomake your competitor research segmentation easier and faster .

App Collections

App Collections is where you can track apps more closely, allowing for faster, easier, and more detailed analysis of their activities. As we explained above, you can create different collections for various purposes and segment the apps you want to examine more closely.

You can see all your app collections on the App Collections page. By clicking on the “New Collection” button on the right hand-side, you can create a new one.

Afte you click on the button, you’ll see a pop-up where you need to name your new collection. Then, you need to click “Save Changes” for your collection to be ready to use.

Once you save it, your new collection will appear on the main App Collections page, and you will be able to edit it there. By clicking the three dots, you can delete or rename your collection.

To add apps to your collection, simply click on the “Go to Top Advertisers” or “Go to Top Publishers” buttons available on the page, and you will be directed to the related pages where you can choose to add publishers or advertisers to your list. Keep in mind that you don’t need to add all your collection items via these pages, you can always curate your own collections according to your goals.

Once you go to one of these pages, you can hover over the app you want and click the “+” icon to add it to your collection.

Choose the collection you want to use; you can add the app to multiple collections at the same time.

Creative Collections
