Needed User Permission
To successfully integrate with App Store Connect, you must have one of the following user roles:
Account Holder
Admin
Finance
You can verify your assigned role in App Store Connect by navigating to Users and Access and checking the 'ROLE' column.
What to Do if You Don't Have the Required Role?
If you do not have the necessary permissions:
Remove the existing user (if applicable).
Create a new user and assign one of the required roles.
When creating a new user, ensure you grant the appropriate permissions to enable seamless integration.
Required Details
API ID:
Navigate to Users and Access > Integrations > Keys tab.
Under Active API Keys, find the Key ID (API ID).
ISSUER ID:
In App Store Connect, navigate to Users and Access > Integrations > Keys tab.
The Issuer ID is displayed at the top of the page, above the API Key list.
3. VENDOR ID:
Go to Payments and Financial Reports.
At the top left, you can see your Vendor Number.
P8 (Private Key File):
In App Store Connect, go to Users and Access > Keys.
Click Generate API Key (if you haven’t already created one).
Download the .p8 file immediately, as it cannot be retrieved again.
If you have previously downloaded a .p8 file for your selected key, you can use it instead.
Important Notes:
The P8 file is only available once—store it securely.
