Integrating your Apple Search Ads account with SearchAds.com improves your campaign management process by merging Apple Search Ads and Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) data into a single platform.

In this article, we will walk you through the process of integrating your Apple Search Ads account with SearchAds.com. By the end of this tutorial, you will be able to track your entire app user journey, optimize campaigns, and utilize advanced features for better performance.

Here are the steps you need to follow (which take around 3 minutes to complete!);

Step-by-step Apple Search Ads integration

1. Sign in to SearchAds.com

If you want to renew an existing integration or integrate a new account integration with this new method, simply go to Integrations on the dashboard or any of the tabs since you'll see the button on each tab on the platform.

You’ll see a "Sign in with Apple Search Ads" option available on the dashboard. When you click on the button, it will redirect you to Apple’s dashboard where you need to sign in to your Apple account.

2. Initiate the Apple Search Ads integration

After clicking the button that says "Sign In with Apple Search Ads," you will be redirected to Apple's authorization page.

Follow the two steps below here to continue with the integration process:

  1. Enter your Apple ID and password to log in.

  2. Choose your account from the drop-down menu and select the appropriate permissions (e.g., Account Read & Write).

2.1. Permissions

After logging in to Apple Search Ads, you will land on the access page. You need to select the account you want to authorize, choose the relevant access level, and then click on the "Grant Access" button.

You'll see that you have 3 access levels to select from on this page.

  • Account Read & Write: This option grants read and write access to all campaign groups within the account. If account-level access is granted, the syncing of new accounts will be handled automatically.

  • Account Read Only: This option, as the name suggests, gives read-only access and restricts editing campaigns.

  • Limited Access: This option gives access to certain campaign groups you choose within the account.

There are two points to keep in mind while giving permissions to SearchAds.com.

  1. You need to have Admin-level permission to grant access to the Apple Search Ads account.

2. You need to give SearchAds.com Account Read & Write access to the campaign groups that you want to manage on SearchAds.com to take any actions on the campaigns through the platform. If you want to move forward with the Limited Access option, make sure to list all campaign groups that need to be accessible by SearchAds.com.

After completing these 2 steps, you’re good to go! You will be redirected back to SearchAds.com, where you will see the integration status as “Valid.” This means that your Apple Search Ads account is successfully integrated.

Keep in mind!

If you are starting Apple Search Ads from scratch, you need to create a campaign in your Apple Search Ads account first to see your app on SearchAds.com. If you would like to start your campaigns after the integration with SearchAds.com, the campaign on the native dashboard can be a test campaign with a really low budget, and you can pause it after the integration.

2.2. Renewing existing integration

If you are renewing an existing integration, you need to grant SearchAds.com access to all the campaign groups you have been managing on SearchAds.com and any new campaign groups that you want to add.

2.3. Multiple Apple Search Ads accounts

If you have multiple Apple Search Ads accounts, you must integrate each one separately by repeating the steps above.

Remember to take the following actions to ensure you completed the integration process smoothly;
